Six-wave mixing generated violet emission in sodium vapor

Abstract

Three violet emissions at 401.6 nm, 465.7 nm, and 471.4 nm are generated in sodium vapor under 578.7-nm excitation. It is assumed to be a six-wave mixing process including a Raman-Stokes.
