Abstract

The iterative interlacing technique (IIT) for synthesis of computer-generated holograms has recently been shown to yield about 50% error reduction over the POCS method and is as good as the DBS method with less computation time.1 Recent studies with the IIT approach in synthesis of computer-generated holograms and zone plates will be described. Special attention will be paid to the topic of quantized phase holograms fabricated with the e-beam and to reactive ion-etching technologies.
