Coherent anti-Stokes Raman scattering in molecular fluids to pressures of 20 GPa and temperatures of 5000 K

Open Access Open Access

Abstract

Vibrational spectra of liquid nitrogen, carbon monoxide, oxygen, and their mixtures, shock compressed to several high-pressure/ high-temperature states were obtained using single-pulsed multiplex coherent anti-Stokes Raman scattering (CARS).
