Optical nonlinearities of glasses doped with large amounts of copper and silver metal particles

Open Access Open Access

Abstract

Glasses doped with large amounts of copper and silver metal particles (~10 mol%) were prepared by melting and heat-treatment processes, and the third-order nonlinearities were studied with emphasis on particle-size dependence.
