Abstract

Models from single receptor physiology1,2 have been fitted to the leading edge of the a-wave of the human ERG.3-9 Although the biophysical motivation behind alternative models differs, their computational forms are very similar for short times after a flash.8,9 Here we focus on the problem of cone intrusion when fitting models to a-waves from normal subjects and patients with retinal diseases.
