Tunnel ionization of simple molecules by an intense CO2 laser

Abstract

Experimental results related to the investigation of the behaviour of various simple (i.e. H2,N2,O2,CO,NO,CO2) molecules present in an intense CO2 laser field lead to the conclusion that all of the species ionize before dissociating.1,2
