Prediction of optical-wave front variance: integral equation technique versus small-aperture beam technique

Abstract

The optical wave front variance is predicted by two techniques, the first consists of hot-wire anemometry measurements and an integral equation involving density-variance and density length-scale distributions1,2 and the second consisting of the small-aperture, multiple beam technique.3,4
