Abstract
It is of interest to characterize the laser-induced optical breakdown plasma that is generated in an atmospheric pressure hydrogen gas.1 Time-resolved spectroscopy methods are employed to measure the plasma emission spectra. Comparison with tabulate line profiles2 of the hydrogen-alpha line and Boltzmann-plot method3 allow us to infer electron number density and temperature.
