Abstract

The new crystal RNB (RbNbB₂0₆) has been investigated and the XYB₂O₆ family of isomorphs (where X=Cs, Rb, K, Y=Nb or Ta) has been identified as a potential structure for χ⁽²⁾ type nonlinear optical applications.
