Spatial Bistability, Instabilities and Chaos in Nonlinear Optical Systems with Two Dimensional Feedback

Open Access Open Access

Abstract

The subject of my paper is connected with the experimental observation and theory of a new class of effects in non-linear optical resonators. All the effects are due to the two-dimensional feedback, i.e. different transverse transformations of optical field (shifts, rotations, diffusion, stretching, compression, etc.) in a feedback loop.
