Demonstration of a free-space optical broadcast network

Abstract

We will demonstrate an optoelectronic broadcast network which uses a novel polarization-based optical fan-out technique. This architecture is scaleable, robust, flexible and compact and makes efficient use of the high data transmission bandwidth available through the use of free-space optics.
