Snapshot Multispectral Imaging Using a Pixel-Wise Color Polarization Image Sensor

Abstract

A new snapshot multispectral-imaging technique is proposed herein. An imaging lens that incorporates multiple spectral filters and polarizing filters is combined with a pixel-wise color polarization image sensor. The prototype of a nine-band can take a multispectral video image.
