Abstract
Many and many optical recordable memory discs have been proposed with various recording materials and configurations. However, the reflectivities of those discs were too low to satisfy the condition (70-90%) defined in the Compact Disc (CD) standards. We investigated quite a new recordable optical disc, "That’s CD-R". The CD-R has a high reflectivity of more than 70% and single plate configuration as same as existing CDs. So it satisfies the CD standards and allows to reproduce by every existing CD players and CD-ROM drives. Moreover not only That’s CD-R is recordable but also the recordable area and ROM area as same as existing CDs are compactible on a single That’s CD-R.
