Novel optical disc storage with polarized collinear holography

Abstract

A novel optical disc storage with polarized collinear holography is proposed and demonstrated. This method enables us to reconstruct the hologram image with a collinear optical configuration, which will open up a small hologram optical head similar to those of CD and DVD.
