Abstract

High-speed and high-density are trends for optical storage techniques. In these years, data transfer rate increased phenomenally from 1X to 20X for DVD-ROM drives. It makes data reproduction speed to be a significant issue in the meantime and motivates the single track retrieving replaced with parallelism.
