Error Correcting Sparse Permutation Channel Codes for Digital Holographic Data Storage

Abstract

We present a new class of modulation codes based on permutation coding which satisfy the channel coding constraint suitable for digital holographic data storage, and simultaneously have strong error correction capability at high code rates.
