Optical Add/Drop Architecture in WDM Undersea Cable Network

Abstract

The WDM undersea network architecture is exploited in terms of wavelength direct connection. The efficient use of wavelength is enhanced when add/drop filters are employed as wavelength router and WDM multiplexer.
