A Packaged Polymeric Mach-Zehnder Modulator : The Performance and Optical Power Stability

Abstract

A polymeric Mach-Zehnder modulator is fabricated and packaged. The optical loss is 13dB, operating voltage is 9V, and the extinction ratio is 31dB. Two time constants related with the stability of the device are observed.
