Experimental Demonstration of Optical Twin-SSB Detection Scheme Using an Electric Butterfly Operation

Abstract

Optical twin-SSB detection using our proposed electric butterfly operation was experimentally demonstrated for the first time. The modulated signal was detected by one self-homodyne receiver. LSB and USB components were demultiplexed without using optical filters.
