Enhancing performance of planar thin-film silicon solar cell using TiO2 ARC and luminescent down-shifting layers

Abstract

In this study, various dimeters of luminescent shifting phosphor particles deposited on a thin-film solar cell with a TiO2 anti-reflection layer were characterized in term of optical reflectance, external quantum efficiency and photovoltaic current density-voltage.
