Sensitivity Enhanced Distributed Brillouin Curvature Sensor based on Erbium-Doped Few-Mode Fiber

Abstract

We demonstrate a distributed Brillouin curvature sensor based on Erbium-doped few-mode fiber. The bending radius range is from 0.3 cm to 2.02 cm, corresponding BFS variation from 91.7 MHz to 9 MHz.
