Abstract

We present element electric field vector rotation method for high precision beam control in optical waveguide array, which is commonly used in microwave antenna applications, and propose a new beam intensity average value method as well. We focus on two kinds of phase control voltage estimation in the optical phased array device, and have a demonstration of the high-precision beam control by using the estimated voltage.
