A Stokes-space-rotation Based Randomly Fast RSOP Tracking Algorithm Using Extended Kalman Filter

Abstract

A new algorithm for tracking fast RSOP using Kalman filter was proposed based on the rotation representation in Stokes space. The numerical simulations showed the algorithm can track randomly varied ultra-fast RSOP in fiber channels.
