Abstract

We propose a novel driving signal pre-distortion method to improve the frequency chirp linearity of an InP/Si3N4 hybrid-integrated external cavity laser. The measured chirp linearity is increased from 87.3% to 99.7%. The ranging resolution reaches 10.3 cm.
