Mode dispersion measurement of few-mode fiber utilizing S2 technique

Abstract

A novel mode dispersion measurement method based on S2 (Spatially and spectrally resolved imaging) technique is demonstrated. The obtained mode dispersion of the fiber under test is 2.9ps/m.
