Abstract

We propose a novel software-defined algorithm for dynamic, physical-layer-aware throughput maximization in next-generation mobile backhaul (MBH) networks. Results confirm >100Mb/s end-to-end per-cell throughputs with ≥2.5Gb/s optical backhaul links deployed at legacy cell sites.
