Orbital Angular Momentum of Light Beam: Generation and Detection

Open Access Open Access

Abstract

Light beams with orbital angular momentum (OAM) are useful in optical trapping and optical communications. The methods to generate light beams with OAM are introduced, and the methods for detecting the OAM states are discussed.
