Study of the Guided Mode Confinement Width of the Surface Plasmon Polariton Waveguides

Abstract

we propose the mode confinement width on power distribution proportion (CWPDP) about the surface plasmon polariton (SPP) waveguide. By investigating, it is indicated that the CWPDP is more reliable than the full width at half maximum.
