An enhancement algorithm based on gaussian distribution for infrared image and its realization with FPGA

Abstract

An adaptive enhancement algorithm based on gaussian distribution for infrared image was presented. some algorithm optimization was analysed and realized based on FPGA. The experiment results showed that the algorithm had real-time enhancement effect.
