Amplification at 1.3 µm in Neodymium-doped fluorophosphate fibers

Abstract

The authors propose Nd3+-doped fluorophosphate fiber amplifier s and reported an amplification characteristics around 1.3μm. A 5 dB gain was obtained at 1.33μm.
