Abstract

The term hroadhand is defined as a per user handwidth he-tween 10 and 150 Mb/s, the B-ISDN rate. The background for supplying such handwidths and the prohlems to he surmounted are outlined; a time dispersive channel, size and cost of hase-stations, signal distrihution and ohtaining a sufficient spectrum allocation are introduced.
