Abstract
In optical time-division-multiplexed (OTDM) transmission in the 100-Gbit/s range[1], the generation of an ultrahigh-speed OTDM signal with uniform pulse separation is important in order to suppress the influence of crosstalk from adjacent pulses on demultiplexing, and to minimize the jitter in timing extraction.
