Abstract

Simultaneous compensation for second- and higher-order fiber dispersion (dispersion and dispersion slope) becomes necessary in the case of high-speed time-division multiplexing (TDM),1 femtosecond pulse code division multiple access,2 and long-haul wavelength-division multiplexing (WDM) systems.
