Abstract

Novel wavelength-selective components are needed for wavelength-division-multiplexed (WDM) fiber telecommunication systems. Bandpass filters were reported using Bragg gratings [1, 2], but there is no simple polarization insensitive bandpass filter with adjustable transmission.
