Multi-carrier and m-QAM modulation based on integrated single side band lightwave source

Abstract

System experiments of a fully integrated millimetric Single Side Band lightwave source are reported. Complex modulation schemes (64 QAM) are transmitted on 38 GHz carrier with very clear constellation and good BER. 4-carrier transmission is also demonstrated with low penalty.
