Abstract

As per-channel bitrates and number of wavelength-division-multiplexed (WDM) channels increase, simultaneous compensation of dispersion and dispersion slope is of increasing significance for both standard single-mode fiber (SSMF) and non-zero dispersion-shifted fiber (NZDSF).
