Abstract

This paper will discuss the fabrication and optical properties of polymer-based arrayed waveguide gratings (AWG) and assess the potential for optoelectronic integration with on-chip photodetectors. The work is carried out using a planar waveguide technology based on AlliedSignal’s polymer materials.
