Abstract

The architecture of future broadband networks should provide large capacity, excellent flexibility, and high reliability.1 In the optical domain, the dense wavelength division multiplexing (DWDM) is a cost-effective technique to dramatically increase network capacity and best use fiber’s huge bandwidth.
