Scaling Rules for Raman Fiber Lasers

Abstract

Scaling rules for Raman fiber lasers are presented, which provide a possibility to linearly re-scale any Raman fiber laser design to any other fiber, and to directly compare the suitability and cost-effectiveness of different standard and Raman-optimized fibers.
