800 GHz RF Spectrum Analyzer for Optical Signals

Abstract

We demonstrate a conceptually new technique to measure the RF spectrum of an optical source. It provides extremely high bandwidth, is easily implemented with conventional off-the-shelf equipment and is therefore promising as a high-speed diagnostic.
