Fabrication of Piecewise-Uniform LPFG Designed using Multiport Lattice Filter Model

Abstract

We fabricate the piecewise-uniform LPFG using the synthesis method for the erbium gain equalization. The multiport lattice filter model is applied to the synthesis of LPFG using the simulated annealing and steepest descent methods.
