Chromatic-Dispersion-Insensitive PMD Monitoring Using Optical Off-Center Bandpass Filtering

Abstract

We demonstrate that by using an off-center optical bandpass filter and monitoring the extracted clock power, an accurate PMD feedback signal is realized. This feedback signal is insensitive to chromatic dispersion.
