Demonstration of Dynamic Self-Routing in an All-Optical Burst Switched Mesh Network with Four Optical Label Switch Routers

Abstract

Self-routing of three 10Gbit/s optical burst signals has been successfully demonstrated in an all-optical mesh network with four 2×2 optical label switch routers. No optical burst frame loss was found at up to 40% traffic load.
