Abstract

Wavelength-tunable supercontinuum with longitudinal mode spacing of 154 GHz is generated over 1460-168 0nm range. This becomes possible through the use of a higher-order mode-locked fiber laser, producing 900fs pulses at 154GHz rate, and a dispersion flattened fiber.
