Polarization Mode Dispersion Induced Impairments in Different Modulation Format Systems

Abstract

We show that DPSK systems can tolerate more PMD than OOK systems, and that CSRZ has a different feature from RZ with respect to PMD, because of its specific spectrum and phase characteristics.
