Modified Group-Velocity Dispersion in Extruded Photonic Crystal Fiber

Abstract

We present measurements of group-velocity dispersion (GVD) in photonic crystal fibers extruded from SF6 glass and intended for nonlinear applications. We report fibers with high nonlinearity and with zero GVD at tele-communications wavelengths.
