Characterization of Fibre Bragg Gratings Using the Interferometric Side Diffraction Technique with an Ultraviolet Light Source

Abstract

A set-up for fibre Bragg grating characterization based on the interferometric side diffraction technique has been evaluated. Using an existing grating fabrication facility, the set-up is very easy to implement. A few gratings are characterized to investigate the system reliability.
