Cascade of all-optical wavelength conversion for RZ-DPSK format using four wave mixing in SOA

Abstract

We have demonstrated 10 stages cascaded wavelength conversion over 800km transmission for 10Gb/s RZ-DPSK format using FWM in SOA. The performance of wavelength conversion for RZ-DPSK format is much better than that for OOK format.
