Very high negative chromatic dispersion in a dual concentric core photonic crystal fiber.

Abstract

A photonic crystal fiber (PCF) based on a particular periodic arrangement of air holes is designed for chromatic dispersion compensation. A two concentric cores structure is obtained and exhibits very high negative chromatic dispersion.
