Experimental GMPLS fault management for OULSR transport networks

Abstract

This paper presents a novel GMPLS-based fault management architecture for OULSR rings tested in the ADRENALINE testbed. Experimental results show an optical protection delay of 45ms using SNMP-based monitoring and IP/control restoration delays around 2100ms.
